The Synopedia Research Council serves as the independent quality and integrity body of Synopedia.
Its mission is not to determine what people should think, but to ensure that every published report meets Synopedia's standards of independence, transparency and factual accuracy.
Council members review reports prior to publication, verify that evidence is fairly represented, challenge unsupported conclusions where necessary, and help ensure that reports remain understandable to a broad audience.
The Council does not seek consensus of opinion. It seeks confidence in the research process.
Its work is guided by five principles:
Independence from political, commercial and ideological influence.
Commitment to evidence and transparent sourcing.
Respect for multiple credible viewpoints.
Clear and accessible communication.
Continuous improvement of research quality.
Open invitation to join our council
If you are attracted by our new way of creating indepedent reports and your experience would be an invaluable contribution to our mission. we like to invite you to become a member of the Synopedia Research Council.
Before publication, each report is reviewed by members of the Council to help ensure that it is factually sound, balanced, clearly written and supported by credible evidence.
Council membership is voluntary and designed to require only a modest time commitment. Members are invited to review reports in areas where they have knowledge or professional experience and are always free to decline a review request.
We believe that, in an age of rapidly expanding AI-generated information, independent human oversight is becoming more important—not less
